A few things worth lookin into

Here is a quick list of things I have found a lot of my friends hadn't discovered yet. These may be interesting, entertaining, and/or helpful(or a boring recap of stuff you already knew about):

1. Google Reader - Great way to get introduced to the world of RSS and RSS aggregation. What the hell does that mean? It means, you will no longer have to waste time checking on sites like mine that don't update on a regular schedule. Also, it is centralized, so wherever you are, whatever machine you are on, you have your crap to read easily and quickly.

2. Awesome Podcasts - Well, I am sure you all are aware of what podcasts are. Here are some I am digging lately. I seem to have fallen in love with the ones that aren't really geared to a specific "theme". Sure, I listen to a fair share of Nerd/Video related podcasts, but, I have found the most joy in the free-for-all,
funny people with microphones. Here are a few:(they all can be found in iTunes, but a I am linking to their sites)

a. The Sound of Young America - OK, this one has a theme. Interviews. But they are great people interviewd by a funny guy.
b. Jordan, Jesse GO! Jesse Thorn(host of Sound of Young America) and another funny dood just talkin about whatever, always hilarious.
c. Real Time with Bill Maher - We don't spend the cash for HBO so this is how I get to experience the show, its been really good lately.
d. Moldawer in the Morning - Funny guy with interesting topics. Frequently has his wife as a guest, which is pretty entertaining. Newlyweds that aren't afraid of tearing into each other. Reminds me of a couple I know....

I listen to a crap ton of these during my commute, so if you want more suggestions, email me...

3. Flickr - I mean really, come on. If I see one more person use Photobucket to link a photo, I am going to pout about it. Why not upload them to a site that you can keep them all forever on? Why not be able to see your friends new photos as they upload them? Really, check this site out, and if the free package isn't enough, the pro account is like $24 for a year. I AM BEGGING you friends.

4. Beagles.
