I spent some horrible middle school nights there, yet still worth it. Not to bring down the mood, but the Bell's family made some poor choices. The Wildcat incident was completely avoidable. They were too cheap to put the proper bolt in. I know that I am ruining someone's childhood memories here, but after speaking to the paramedic that responded to the Wildcat accident I was disgusted. The back of that kid's head was completely caved in.
Whomever you are "watch the whole thing" you can't take away my memories. But you are right, they were pretty strapped for money to keep the place up. People die at Disney Land too. But no other place I know of has the Phantasmagoria!
I recommend writing to rbjorklund@exposquare.com and letting him know how you feel. Or better yet, call him at (918)744-1113, extension 2050. I'm sure he's eager to have a little chat with the public about this decision. Then again, no deluge of phone calls or emails could make Bell's actually make money, so maybe you shouldn't bother.
